- it just means that he is a little over protective and needs to chill out
- First you should tell him to fly off and then never mind scratch that. maybe it means he's just WAY too insecure. that or either he's cheating and wants a reason to flip the cards so you wont see it coming. or he probably in the past got hurt by love because one of his past girlfriends did the same thing and cheated. if that's the case then you could just talk to him about it and let him know you would never do anything like that and stick to your word when you tell him that.
- This puts you into a very uncomfortable position. I think you have to analyze why you are hugging and/or looking at other guys. I'm happily married and have always looked (Not Leered) at other women. I also hug my lady friends in greeting if they have been close. My wife doesn't mind. Now, getting down to him. I was married to a controller for 28 years. That person placed many expectations on me that I was not comfortable with and had a controlling ways that made me wish that I had not married her. Finally, after too many years of sadness, I broke off the relationship. I'm happily married now to a person who loves me, not controls me. It's up to you, do you want to be controlled or have the trusting love of a person who truly loves you?

I would say that (even though I don't have a boyfriend) they probably think that the guys he hangs out with would laugh at him. I'm not saying anthing about you, it's just that guys are self-conscious and probably would laugh if 'one of the guys' had a girlfriend.
