NO dirt bikes are either air cooled (you will mainly find this on Chinese bikes) or they are cooled by coolant from a radiater, much like the one in your car.
race bikes are cooled by air air circulation but in sports bike they are cooled by oil coolant
no all pocket bikes are forced air cooled

The Harley Davidson Shovelhead engine was manufactured between 1966 and 1984. The Shovelhead is a 45 degree V-twin motorcycle engine, and is air cooled.
Ssimplicity and weight. An air cooled engine has no water pump, thermostat, radiator, water passageways, etc. They are also cheaper, though since most air cooled motorcycles are used, you won't see much gain there. Some people feel they also look better on crusers and vintage bikes.
Harley is an oil cooled engine, unless you are speaking of the V-Rod which does have a radiator.
