Ledum is an awesome bite remedy. If the bite occured within the past two days I would suggest Ledum 30C 4 times a day. If the bite is still bothering you after 48 hours then change the dose to 200C once a day for ten days. Many people who develope rashes after a bite can get very good relief with the 200c dose. Still be carefull as many tickborne illnesses need further treatment or they can become chronic. I use a product from Canada called Lyme HP for treatment of Lyme disease that has settled in for more than a month. I use another called Lymestat for tick bites as soon as discovered. Both procucts contain Ledum in sufficient doses but Lyme HP also has Lyme Nosodes.
Good Luck and be safe
About 30% of people who sustain the tick bites actually acquire the Lyme disease.

A tick bite is a bug bite. Tick bites hurt a lot. Other bites tend to itch. I found my tick & bite because it itched a lot. It is a tick bite if there is a tick on it although baby ticks can be as small as a piece of pepper. ICK!
About.com and any official medical sites like cdc.gov will give you accurate information on tick bites. Photos, videos, diagrams, etc. should be on those sites as well.

It is very possible you received a tick bite. Tick bites stand out from other insect bites because it looks like a bull's eye meaning you will have a red bump with a rash forming around the bite itself, if you think you may have been bitten by a tick I recommend seeing a Doctor very soon.
There is no such thing as a "Lyme Tick". Are you asking what tick carries Lyme Disease? Lyme is a bacteria that a tick might be carrying. It causes Lyme Disease when it the tick bites you. It was previously thought that only Deer Ticks carry Lyme Bacteria. More and more they are finding that any tick may carry it.
