No one really know how the Palomino colored horse got its name. Queen Ysabella of Spain sent one stallion and five brood mares to new Spain know called Mexico. She sent them to improve the new world. Some people think it came from that others think it came from Dick Halliday registering his palomino horse El Rey De Los Reyes. so no one really knows. Hope this helps!

The American Cream Draft comes to mind. It is the size of a draft horse, but has a coat ranging from buttery palomino to perlino. Most are almost white. It has a nose rather unlike a draft, but more like a Quarter Horse. This could also refer to a Haflinger, which can be cream colored but also ranges into the deep gold palomino range.
the Highland Pony comes in a variety of colors including. Dun in all it's shades. bay, black, brown, liver chestnut, chestnut, sorrel(Flaxen chestnut), Silver Dapple.
In the wild, the same as every other horses! palaminos originate from the North American plains so their habitat would be a sandy and grassy sort of environment with big water hoels. Ever seen Spirit? (the film) it looks a bit like that. Same sort of environment as American Buffalo as well.

No breed of horse is exclusively black, there is one breed, the Friesian that comes in mainly black, but they also carry the gene to express red (chestnut.)The Extension gene is responsible for black and red pigment. If a horse is Homozygous (dominate) for black then it will have EE, if the horse is Heterozygous (recessive) for black it will be ee and will be chestnut in color. It is also possible for a horse to be Ee, that means it carries one copy each of black and red and can pass either one of those along resulting in either black or chestnut foals if paired with another horse that is Ee or ee.
The Giara horse mostly comes in Bay, Chestnut and black.
The differences between a buckeye and a horse chestnut is the way that they look. Buckeyes are bumpier. Buckeyes are a milk chocolate color when they are ripe, while horse chestnuts are a chestnut brown.
