The Shawnee, Sandusky Seneca, Wea, and Kickapoo sided with the French against the English. The Cherokee, Seneca, Mohawk, Montauk, Oneida, Cayuga, Onondaga, Creek, Chickasaw, and Tuscarora were fighting with the American-British forces.
