What is national dance of Portugal?

"malhao" is the word that occurs in many songs to which one can dance. traditional folclore groups (often called "ranchos") perform these dances. hence i guess that the national dance is called "malhao" (as I'm using a non-portuguese computer, please note that above the letter "a" in "malhao" a tilde (a wavy line) should be put).

What is national dress of Brazil?

Brazil doesn't really have a specific "traditional" kind of clothing. Any "traditional" clothing would be VERY specific to region. The closest thing we would have that applies for the whole country would be the clothing worn for Festa Junina (literally, "Party that takes place in June", or "June Party"). Girls wear bright older-style dresses (though any simple style dresses will do, especially with a floral pattern), usually with colourful patches here and there. Their hair is usually either in double braids or pigtails (neither of which are typically worn in an everyday setting). Some people decorate the pigtails or braids with colourful ribbons. if they wear a hat, it is usually simple and made of straw. Makeup -wise, girls put excessive blush on their cheeks and use black eyeliner to draw three or four dots on each cheek. Their shoes are simple, and usually accompanied by white shin-high socks. Both female and male enthusiasts for the holiday often also blacken a few of their teeth. They may also use the eyeliner to draw a fake unibrow on themselves. Boys usually dress in checkered button-up shirts, possibly suspenders, and also have colourful patches on their shirts and/or pants. If they are wearing a hat, it is usually simple and made of straw, or sometimes cowboy hats. Little boys often get fake mustaches drawn on with eyeliner.
