Moses was God's servant. He wrote some of The Bible books. He was used by God to take the Israelites out of Egypt. With God's power he performed many miracles. After getting out of Egypt he was given the Ten Commandments which he had to pass on to the Israelites. Moses served as a mediator between the nation of Israel and God.

At God's command (Exodus ch.3) and guidance (ibid. ch.4), Moses demanded the Israelites' freedom (ibid. ch.5) and signaled the onset of each plague which God wrought (ibid. ch.7-11). After the last plague (Exodus ch.12), he led the Israelites out of Egypt.

Moses did a lot of things, not just three. Here are three of the important things that Moses did:

  • He was instrumental in bringing God's plagues down upon Egypt (Exodus ch.7-12).
  • He led the Israelites out of Egypt (Exodus ch.12), and led them in the wilderness forty years.
  • He received the Two Stone Tablets of the Ten Commandments from God (Exodus 31:18).
