According to what I know, nothing will come out after the 3DS for a really long time. This could be completely false, though. I mean, different versions of the ds came out for different reasons. The ds lite cam out because the original ds wasn't bright enough. The DSi came out because they wanted to add a camera and internet things like the shop and stuff. The DSiXL came out so people could enjoy a bigger screen and be distracted from the release of the 3DS. So, as far as I know, it'll probably be okay for you to get one, if you're not sure about getting one. Don't just take my word for it, because I could be wrong. I got this from somebody else who said this stuff.

∙ 9y agoThe 2DS came out after the 3DS, but isn't really a new console in the traditional sense. It's simply a new version of the 3DS which is cheaper, has a different shape, and doesn't have the 3D function.
