What Pokemon should you start with on Pokemon Diamond and Pearl?

I think you should start of with a chimchar because they are pretty easy to train and are pretty effective if you train them right. The others are cool, but having a chimchar is awesome! But is kinda hard in some gyms but still easy~
on evrey site that i see PEOPLE alwas say that chimchar are the best. NO.i say piplup is the best becous at the elite four bertha uses ground type and flint uses fire type so you dicide CHIMCHAR or PIPLUP!!! :^)
i say chimchar because you can always get a magikarp train it a little into a gyrados and then still have a fire Pokemon which there are not a lot of in diamond and pearl

From my opinion, I think Diamond is. But, I think that if you start with Chimchar, you should play Diamond. If, you start with Turtwig, you should play Pearl. If, you start with Piplup, you should play Plantinum.
