The screw set on the float will indicate the the settings on a 5.5 hp engine.
they should fluctuate when your revving your engine and letting it down to idle that's the voltage regulator stopping the alternator from putting out to much power it is perfectly normal.
Should have a rev limiter to protect engine from over revving
It has a lot to do with the fact that the heat provided when you turn the heater on comes from the engine. the faster your engine is reving the more heat you'll get. Next time try putting the car in neutral and revving the engine. that should get you some more heat.
Should be on top of manifold/engine. See below- this is what it looks like, has 2 bolts to hold it on and a plug connector. Do not start engine with it off, extra air could cause over revving,.
No one should, but if you do so, just use a standard cheat engine.
Oil consumption, excessive engine noise, smoke coming from the tail pipe.
No not usually, but i guess it could. Try cleaning od the rust and the engine, then it should work again.
There should be a cap on the engine block itself that should indicate where the oil goes. It is usually marked with the word "oil."
A little movement is normal but more than that may indicate broken motor mounts.
if standard engine, you could pull specs for engine online, or any dealer of that vehicle could tell you. should also be in owners manuell if you have it
The exhaust should be colorless. Smoke is created by an imbalance of the oil:fuel mixture. Black smoke is too much fuel (rich). White-blue smoke would be too much oil.
