Most any 2.2 liter Ecotec 4cyl up to year 2005, I replaced my 2001 L200 with one from a 2005 Cavalier. After 2005 the displacement changes and there may some fit issues. There are certain things from the old engine you will need to swap out but they are bolt on stuff.
It is possible to be a different engine in a Mitsubishi L200 a Saturn L200. If putting in a different engine it may take some fabrication to modify the car and engine to fit.
