Shrek the musical premiered in Seattle in 2008, opened on Broadway from 2008-2010, the US national tour started in Chicago in 2010 and ended in Los Angeles in 2011. It was followed by non-equity tours. Shrek also toured in the UK and Ireland. It closed on Broadway January 3rd, 2010.
