acidity
Any substance with a pH of 7.
The pH of tea is 3-4.
If a substance has a PH of 11 then the substance is basic.
The pH is the negative log of the concentration of hydronium ions. (pH=-log [H3O+]) If the pH is high, the substance is basic. If it is low the substance is acidic. When the pH is exactly 7 the substance is neutral.
PH of rooibos tea is 6 - 6.5
either a 7 on the ph value scale witch is green or you would get a 0 depending on your ph value scale
Most acidic is substance of pH of 2, then of pH of 5 and the substance of pH 7 is neutral and the substance of pH 11 is basic
A substance with a pH of 7 is not acidic nor is it basic. It is a neutral substance.
Classify a substance that has negative pH value. Foods that have acids in them is a substance hat have pH.
Brewed tea about 7.0
The pH scale ranges from 0-14 pH. A substance that has a pH of 7 is considered to be "neutral," like pure water. A substance that has a pH less than 7 is said to be acidic, and a substance that has a pH greater than 7 is said to be basic. Therefore, the difference between those two pH levels is that the 4 pH substance is more acidic and the 10 pH substance is more basic. The more basic or acidic, the more caustic and/or corrosive the substance will be.
The pH of tea varies widely depending on the strength of the tea, and the type of tea used. Some green teas, such as chun mee, which have a sour flavor, are naturally slightly more acidic. The more strongly you brew tea (meaning, the more leaf used per amount of water, and the longer the steeping time), the more acidic the tea will be, and thus, the lower the pH will be. There are many sources that state the pH of ordinary black tea is normally from 6.0 - 6.6, but one scientific study measured it as low as 4.9. Even this lower figure is still within the normal range of mild food and drink. Soft drinks, by comparison, have a much lower pH. For comparison, pure lemon juice has a pH of around 2. The pH of tea is high enough that it is not a matter of health concern for anyone.
