To get light through without allowing vision.
Above the highest tide (allowing for the inertia AND friction of water).
No, our eyes does not give out light. Only light comes in to our eyes allowing us to see.
greenhouse gas
Well, there was lunar geology, solar wind collection, nearly 200 Lunar photographs showing the stars in frequencies no Earth astronomer could see, as Earth's atmosphere screens out those frequencies. (So much for the hoaxbuff claim that no Lunar photographs show the stars!). And the reflectors left behind have allowed lasers in different points of Earth to precisely locate their position with respect to each other, thus allowing us to measure the motion and flexing of the very continents, which could also prove handy someday in predicting earthquakes.
The invention of the compass greatly aided explorers in finding new continents by allowing ship navigators to check their location by charting their position relative to the Earth's magnetic field. This technology enabled them to maintain a more accurate course across vast expanses of ocean.
Both the caravel astrolabe and the magnetic compass are important navigation tools for a ship, but the magnetic compass is generally considered more crucial. The compass provides a reliable and constant indication of the ship's direction, allowing for accurate navigation even when visibility is limited. The caravel astrolabe, on the other hand, is used to measure the altitude of celestial objects to determine latitude, and while it is helpful for navigation, it is not as essential as the magnetic compass.
Mail carried on ships or over land, depending on the countries involved.
They didn't. If you take out all the water from the seas and ocean, you would see the continents are still connected by land (save for the faults). Unless the tectonic plates were reduced to the incredibly small sizes therefore allowing them to shift like you are misled to believe, there is no chance of the continents shifting as they are all part of the ground, not floating.
There are two basic evidences to support this theory: 1. Animals or plants of the same species can be found on separated continents (for example, Africa and Australia or North America and Europe) naturally, and have not been placed by man. This must mean all the continents were previously connected, allowing the animals and plants to disperse. 2. The continents all seem to fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. This must mean all the continents were previously connected, but have since broken off and their Coastlines have eroded since then, which explains why they do not perfectly fit together.

James Cook is probably one of the best known explorers whose journeys contributed to settlement in Australia.George Bass and Matthew Flinders were significant explorers who proved that Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) was an island. Flinders circumnavigated the entire Australian continent.James Grant is a little-known explorer who contributed significantly to knowledge of the southern coast.George Evans was an explorer of the early colonial settlement.William Lawson, William Wentworth and Gregory Blaxlandwere significant for being the first explorers to cross the Blue Mountains, allowing expansion of the colony to the west.
Continents are pieces of land that was created by me!!!!!!!
Compasses have been used for a long time, mainly by seafarers & explorers. It is the oldest navigation instrument, and it has been a very important tool for navigation at sea for centuries. It has been used since the middle ages, allowing ships to sail the chosen course. Also, by taking bearings with a compass, people could find their position on a chart.
The world used to be very different. It used to be covered in water, allowing animals to swim to different continents. Either the animal died and sunk, or was stranded by the reducing waters and died that way. :)
I am allowing you to go text
It was very difficult (no water, no food) It was well situated for trade, because it had crossroads of three continents-Asia, Africa, Europe. It was also suitable for trade because it was surrounded by water near other lands allowing other countries to come trade. this in the long run will allow mecca to improve on trade supplies
