The part nearest to the earths core is the "Mantle" it contains partially molten rocks and also known as the "Mesosphere".Its made up mainly of "Olivine" ie silicates of iron and magnesium. It has a density of between 3.0-5.0 and its about 2900km thick. It has several layers, the uppermost mantle consist of the continental and oceanic crusts which forms the "Tectonic plates".Directly beneath this layer is a "weak zone" also known as the "Asthenosphere" on which the plates rides. The asthenosphere lies between 100-200km from earth surface its very hot, plastic and highly molten containing rocks and iron forming "Magmatic materials" that can be forced to erupt under high pressure to produce "Volcanic mountains" and other "Tectonic landforms".The lowwermost part of the mantle extends from 670km-2900km and is more solid than the asthenosphere. The mantle is the most active internal structure of the earth.
The inner core.
The area nearest to the Earth's Core.
The Earth is made up of three layers. The center is the core, surrounded by the mantle, which is surrounded by the crust. So the mantle is closest to the core.

The word "core" can function as a noun, adjective, or verb. It is most commonly used as a noun to refer to the central or most essential part of something.
Inner CoreThe inner core of the Earth has a radius of a little more than 1,200 kilometers. It comprises solid iron and nickel alloy along with one lighter element --- likely oxygen. The inner core has been cooling down ever since the Earth formed, but its temperature is still similar to that on the surface of the Sun. Due to its temperature, the iron it contains cannot become magnetized.Outer CoreThe outer core is about 2,200 kilometers thick and is made of liquid iron and nickel alloy. It has a cooler temperature than that of the inner core, ranging from 4,400 degrees Celsius in the part nearest to the mantel to 6,100 degrees Celsius in the part nearest to the inner core. The outer core's allows it to generate electrical currents.

The inner core.
One part is the liquid called the outer core and the other part is dense and solid which is called the inner core
