There is at least a small settlement of Amish in almost every state. They are mostly located in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky.

Within their secular communities they DO have their own system of daling with transgressions, HOWEVER - in the US, they are still subject to all criminal and civil laws of the state in which they live.
