I find Loctite's super glue Activator works well: holds a patch of polyethelene sheet strongly on a sheet that had a hole (in a rink liner). The bond is strong enough to tear the underlying sheet when pulled hard, rather than peel off as other adhesives do on polyethelene (such as epoxy or super glue or silicon).
Hot glue also works--but it's problematic on a thin sheet: too much heat and you make a new hole.
Yes.
Best is red 'Tuck' construction tape
a plastic sheeting like a sheeting for petanque.
Perhaps DP8005 by 3M ???Loctite Plastix BonderBonds all plastics, even polyethylene and polypropyleneTwo-part application - activator and adhesive, no mixing requiredYes, I found loctite Activator for superglue works well to make a strong, sealed patch on a polyethelene sheet (in my case, a rink liner with a hole).Ans 5 - The best adhesive I've found for polyethylene is 'Gloozit Plumbers Goop'. It works well on many shiny, flexible surfaces
Polyethelene terephthalate - Glycol
yes copper sheeting is flexible because its turned into a paper like substance
Some plastic used are PET (polyethelene teraphthalate), HDPE (high-definition polyethelene), LDPE (low-definition polythelene), PP (propolene), and sometimes the controversial BPA (bisphenal- A).
tupperware plastic is HDPE( high density polyethelene)
An aluminum sheet is first cut into the shape of an octagon. Reflective sheeting is cut into the background sheeting and letters. They are then assembled and placed in a heat lamp to seal the sheeting to the aluminum.
From my local home depot, they do not sell steel sheeting to the customers. I would suggest calling a steel reseller and maybe you can work out a deal for steel sheeting.
are there any health concerns with black deterating polycarbonate sheeting
There are many subtle variations of polyethylene, however acetone will not eat most of them.
