It is generally agreed that the best age to breed from a female is three years of age, but your Dog should be fine to mate after she has had at least two seasons.
I would recommend that you let your yorkie have her next season before you mate her. She may still be immature to have a litter at this age. I have done this with my yorkies as I breed them too.
