In Virtual Villagers 4, villagers do not stop learning altogether after reaching a certain age, but their learning rate decreases as they grow older. Younger villagers tend to acquire skills and knowledge more quickly, while older villagers may take longer to learn new tasks. However, they can still contribute to the community and utilize their existing skills even as their learning slows down. Overall, while age affects learning efficiency, it does not completely halt the ability to learn.
In Virtual Villagers 4, you need to gather a total of 16 villagers to honor the tree. This involves bringing them to the Sacred Tree and having them perform the honoring ritual. The villagers must be of sufficient age and health to participate in the ceremony. Once the required number of villagers is gathered, the tree will be honored, unlocking new features and gameplay elements.
In Virtual Villagers, a child takes about 20 minutes of real-time gameplay to grow into a teenager, which is when they turn 14. This process occurs as the game progresses and villagers age naturally. Players can speed up this aging by ensuring that the village is active and that villagers are engaged in various tasks.
