Yes,female hamsters do go through heat.Heat occurs once every 3 or 4 days and lasts for one day.During heat a female emits a strong odor and can't be handled unless you are going to breed her.If you do handle her you will need to wash your hand and clothes because they will smell really bad.Another way to tell if a female is in heat is to take your finger and stroke her from her head towards her tail.If she is in heat she will sort of crouch with her tail in the air and freeze.
The definition of going in heat, is basically meaning that she is having her period. Heat or period, this means that she is able to have babies. Hamsters usually go in heat every four days. If you are planning on breeding your hamsters, please let me know and i can walk you threw advice on how to. Hope I helped some,

I believe that male hamsters can begin breeding at 4 weeks old, but you should wait just a little longer for good measure
sometimes fighting is natural my baby hamsters fight but IT COULD GET PREGANANT!
Yes.Because female's produce food ,and Male's make the babies
Make sure you breed only hamsters that you have had for a long time, longer than 6 months.Good hamsters to breed are Syrian Hamsters. Get hamsters that are in good health, with glossy eyes and smooth fur. Slowly get the male and female hamster accustomed to each other and after about a week, there will be baby hamsters.
Black Bear Hamster is their nickname. Their real name is a Syrian Hamster. No, not all Syrian Hamsters are male. They require a female in order to breed.
Do not breed your hamsters until you learn that "Black Bear" is not a breed and all hamsters breed the same. Do research.
Hamster breeding takes alot of patience! First of all, you shoul have one male and one female in each cage because the the male won't get confused as to wich he should choose and the females won't fight over it. Often times hamsters will only try to breed in complete silence and complete darkness, and the male is often killed in the breeding. Then the female must carry the babies for 18-21 days, they will then come out usally extremly fragil and hairless until the age 3 weeks old. With any threat to her babies the mother hamster will hide them, and if stressed she will try to eat them, also if the father becomes angry he will kill them so keep the father in a different cage!! Baby hamsters take 10 as much care as a grown hamsters so make sure you read up and do some research before making the decision to breed!
I'm the one that posted this question, I have 3 hamsters, one male and two females. Ive been trying to breed them but the male never seems to be interested in the female. I put them together for about an hour and the female kept jumping on the male but the male just sat there and sometimes ran off. Someone please help me!
Obviously, you need both sexes to breed and have babies. Keep the male and female separate after breeding.
If you do they'll breed. Be ready to deal with that, or keep them separated.
no
You can not breed baby hamsters they must grow up before they can do that.
It can be as simple as putting a male with a female for a day or two. dont heat the female just put the male in with the female and they will mate.NOTICE: Once the babies are breed don't touch their bodies or else the mom will eat them.
