Technically, you can be any age
AnswerI just spoke to CPS agent #1037. She said there is no legal age limit for babysitting in Texas. CPS and law enforcement have guidelines they go buy such as age of the babysitter, age of the child being cared for, maturity of the babysitter, length of time to be left alone, babysitter's knowledge of what to do in case of emergencies, etc.ANSER
well,in the state of Texas there is no limit really...but if you don't take care of the kid and CPS finds out your parent/parents can go to jail...nobody wants that, so if you babysit take really good care of the baby/kid.:)
There are no laws that say you can't leave a child of any exact age alone. BUT. It has to be reasonable, you as their parent make the decison if they are or are not capable, and if the court deems them uncapable to care for themselves you can be charged with neglect. So it's really the parents call.
A child can be of any age to stay overnight with a non-custodial parent. Unless there is a danger to the child which prevented a non-custodial parent from having any sort of access, the court order should have provided for visitation arrangements.
there is no age limit when the kid can handle thm selves home alone and u ttrust thm thn thy can be left alone butt for example babies and toddlers cant be left alone
