it depend on the horse and his health
A male thoroughbred is classified as a horse by the jockey club at 4+ years of age. Horse is just another term for a stallion by their classification system.
a colt will become a stallion when he is 4 years of age but will only become a 'horse' not a 'pony' if he is over 14.2hh (hands high).
At 1 the foal becomes a yearling then a colt/filly to 2 to 3 and at 3 it finally becomes a horse
do you mean how old it has to be to be sent to the safe haven? if so, any age. and if you are asking if there is an age limit, no, there is no age limit for putting a horse in the safe haven. i hope that helps :)
A horse is born a stallion. The sex drive of a horse develops at different ages, somethimes as young as 6 months of age. When a horse is gelded, the sex drive goes away and the horse usually becomes more gentle.
the same age as any other horse
62 is the current age of the eldest horse to ever be, sadly the horse died at that age.
the horse is at it's best around age 8 thru age 15
Every age is a good age for a horse. But for certain work a horse is in his prime from 5 through 15. For young riders with little experience an older horse is the best bet.
The age of a horse affects the speed of the horse because like a human with age the body has experienced wear, and does not repair itself as well.
You can age the horse with ageing points - click "age my horse" to the middle left of your horse's page and age him 2 months without waiting. Or, you can simply wait until the next day when the horse will have aged naturally.
