the true age of men that went to war during the wold war ranged from;15-18;those men went or snuk into the navy because they were to young;19-30;were the main ages of the men that went to war. But unfurtuneatly only17% of these men lived the war.
Men were forced to fight in both world wars because their countries said it was compulsory for men of a certain age to fight for their country. This was called conscription where every man in every town and city signed up to go to war unless you were too old, too young, had a Disability or a very important job.

The Women stayed home and worked in the factories when the men left. This helped to incrase their statous when the men returned from war

IN World War two there was very shortage of food and things you need to help you survive so men had to go to fight in war at 16 the had to go if they want to win war and get the special needs back so the more of them the better chance of winning war and luckily Britain won hooray! But sadly some families had lost a member nothing said that fighting in war was going to be easy men shot injured and killed so basically the age of starting was is 16
