The logical age for baptism would be at about 18, when the person has fully learned and thought about what religion is and means. Of course many who believe in infant baptism have their children baptised soon after birth. This has to with their beliefs about baptism. Others, as stated above, are baptised when they reach the 'age of accountability' which is not specified specifically in The Bible and will vary according to the person.
I believe there is no "designated" age. When someone is to be baptized it should be when they know what they are doing and do it willingly.
A child can be baptized as soon as he/she is born. There isn't a specific age to baptize someone. It can be done at any age.
In Catholicism, which baptizes infants, the child should be baptized as soon as practical after birth in case some unforeseen event occurs resulting in the death of the child.
when they are old enough to make the desion for themselves as religion should not be forced on a child
yes, because Jesus is baptised in old age
When a child is baptized ,he is usually given a name in the church at the same time.Baptism is a Christian sacrament and not one specific to a particular denomination. Therefore if your child was baptised in a chalel, then he/she is baptised, period. There is absolutely no need for him/her to be baptised again in a church as he/she is baptised already.
he was baptised the morning after he was born.
yep.
I believe so...
You must baptize your child , so that she will filled with the holy ghost. When a child is baptize, he/she has become a part of God's family, the Church.
You can be any age at baptism. Mostly it is babies that are baptised, but it can be children or adults who are baptised too. So there is no set age for baptism.
Members of Hutterite colonies age is seventeen are able to be baptised and able to get married
in baptist religion you can not be baptised until you are of an age where you understand what it means to be baptised
John the baptist' mother was never baptised at all until her son John baptised Jesus Christ (the first person to be baptised), it was only then that people decided to come up and be baptised. It never says in the bible if John's mother was baptised or not but she probably was. People got baptised at a much older age back then compared to today's tradition of getting baptised between the age of 0 and 3)
A baby can be baptised at any time, in the UK there is no official age, though usually before a child is one year old
