Puppies start to use their senses to learn new things the moment they open their eyes.

Puppy training should start as soon as they are big enough to crawl out of the whelping nest on their own usually in their first month.

Therefore a proper program of exercise, discipline and affection should be readily prepared for your puppy the moment you bring it home. Start training as soon as you bring your new puppy home. You should start training your puppies as soon as possible. This makes it so the dog has very little chance to develop bad habits. It may not be perfect, but a good Dog Training system is one of positive reinforcement. This means whenever a dog does what you want it to, you give the dog treat and praise. When a dog does something bad, you simply say no in a stern voice.

A puppy can begin learning basic commands and socialization as soon as it is away from it's mother. Other types of training may have to wait until the dog/puppy is mature enough to learn what it is being asked to do. Some breeds mature much earlier than others. If you find your dog is having a hard time learning certain things you may need to wait a while and try again. Keep it fun and try not to stress the dog out.

As soon as they can walk!! Start with potty training then move onto tricks such as sit, stay, and lay down. I recommend using hand signals that are simple and your dog can recognize. On petfinder.com they have tons of training tips and tricks!!

A puppy can begin learning basic commands and socialization as soon as it is away from it's mother, so from about 8 weeks onwards. Other types of training may have to wait until the dog/puppy is mature enough to learn what it is being asked to do. Training should be kept fun so the puppy is kept interested and helps strengthen the bond between owner and dog.

A labrador puppy should be about eight weeks old when you need to start training it. Just don't expect a lot right away because they have short attention spans but just keep reinforcing boundaries and they should learn.

Puppy training can start as soon as you bring your new furry friend home! It's important to start training your puppy as soon as possible to set them up for success and help them become well-behaved and well-adjusted members of your household. Some basic training, such as house training and teaching basic commands, can be started as soon as your puppy is old enough to pay attention and understand what you are asking of them. Puppies can also begin to learn basic obedience commands, such as "sit" and "down," as early as 8 weeks of age. It's important to remember to be patient and consistent when training your puppy, and to use positive reinforcement techniques, such as rewards and praise, to encourage good behavior.

How long after your dogs puppies are born should you wait to start her training?

Until they are 8-10 weeks old. If you are trying to train one puppy while you still have several others, train your puppy in a separate room where she or he won't be distracted by noise or objects, or other people. Remember bribing works foro puppy training, have lots of treats for your cutie and they'll learn in no time. I started training my puppy at six weeks. At this age they do not pay attention for more than five minutes or so but they learn really fast if you have a treat ready. At six weeks my puppy is least trained, and also knows sit and come.
