Thomas Edison built his own science laboratory at the age of 10. This was built in the basement of his home. To that day he was inspired to make inventions. Thomas Edison was born on February 11, 1847. He was a very unique person, and his most popular inventions were the phonograph (for playing music recordings), the light bulb, the movie camera, the X-ray, and many others. With the inventions he made back then were useful, but now in our generation they made newer versions of the things he made. Still today, his inventions are very useful. Sadly he died on October 18, 1931. If he was still living today, he would be 164 years old! That's very old.. the thing is you cant live that long! He enjoyed experimenting things from his childhood.
