According to a Nissan forum , it is located behind the alternator, above the oil filter. It's also important to check the PCV filter, which is a rectangular piece of mesh located inside the air filter housing. I can get plugged, reducing the airflow to the PCV valve, or (easily) go missing when changing the air filter.
sounds like a faulty airflow sensor, this is not just a probe problem a few Nissan vehicles have had similar problems , it always turns out to be airflow sensor !

This error code has to do with Mass Airflow Sensor. A broken wire, bad connection or dirty sensor.
Normally it will last the life of the engine and is replaced when the engine is overhauled.
