Why plastics container are used for storing food?

Because, the little kids would end up eating anything else, if you know anything about little kids, you would know that plastic containers are their weakness. With this being said, you can clearly see why Barack Obama will NOT elceted in 2012.Obama will make a change on this country. The above is crossed out because he is a joke...In conclusion, little kids HATE plastic containers so that is why they put food in them, so the kids don't steal it.

Is a benevolent dictatorship more effective than current democracy?

A benevolent dicatorship is a more effective form of government than democracy. Decions can be made immediatly and will be made in the best intrest of the county (hence benevolent), rather then in the intrests of being re-elceted. Therefore decisions that are nessisary, but unpopular with the people (like cutting the deficit in Greece by cutting social servicess before they defaulted on debt) can be made. If the dictator listens to his advisors then there is no overall loss of creative problem solving either. The effectiveness of dictatorship was shown during the rule of the roman emperors and the mongol khans who created vast empires in short periods of time. Whereas the greatest democratic civiliation of ancient history was the greeks, who had a lose condederation of city states in a small area and they mainly fought amongst themselves. Dictatorship however contains the risk of the dictator becoming a tyrant and no longer caring for the people. This is a risk that democracy does not contain.

Which 5 presidents weren't elceted by the people?

No U.S. President has ever been elected by the people. The U.S. House of Representatives elected the President in 1800, breaking the electoral vote tie between Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr, and in 1824, from among the three candidates with the most electoral votes since nobody received a majority of the votes. In 1877, Congress created a special commission to determine the recipient(s) of 20 disputed votes from the 1876 election. In so doing, they determined the winner of the election. In all of the other 55 U.S. Presidential elections to date, the Electoral College determined the winner.Five U.S. Presidents never won a presidential election. Each served a partial term after his predecessor died or resigned...John Tyler was President from 6 April 1841 until 3 March 1845, after the death of William Henry Harrison.Millard Fillmore was President from 9 July 1850 until 3 March 1853, after the death of Zachary Taylor.Andrew Johnson was President from 15 April 1865 until 3 March 1869, after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.Chester A. Ford was President from 9 August 1974 until 20 January 1977, after the resignation of Richard Nixon.Theodore Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge, Harry Truman, and Lyndon Johnson were vice presidents who became presidents due to the death of the president, but each of them went on to win reelection.
