This amendment gives people the right to keep and bear arms (weapons, guns specifically.)
Second Amendment
The second amendment gives the right of militia and to bear arms. The thing you have to remember that when it was written there were flintlock guns that only could shoot one shot and the amendment was meant for protection by the militia not for people to own military type weapons that we have today.
The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. God gave us the right and so far we have been able to keep it. "God gave us the right" - If God were real (I shall leave that to your own judgement) he's not exactly going to endorse murder weapons.
The First Amendment!
Because that right is enshrined in the US constitution. The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Therefore changing this significantly may require a change to the US constitution.
The Second Amendment.
The Second Amendment
?
The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution ensures, broadly, the right of the public to own arms (firearms and other small weapons) and to train with them and potentially serve in a militia.
The 6th amendment ! But to explain the amendment you have to put the saying in your own words .
The Bill of Rights does not have "Articles". If you're referring to Article II of the Constitution, it applies the Constitutional Powers given to the President & Executive Branch. If you're referring to the 2nd Amendment, it's the "Right to Bear Arms", giving state's the right to regulate militias, and authorizing the private use of firearms.
