No animal has many stomachs. All animals on earth only have ONE stomach. However, a select few animals have a stomach with multiple CHAMBERS designed to efficiently digest grass. Such animals are called ruminants.
Cows do. One stomach is for digesting (Like all animals) and the other is to help break down the food for digesting. After the cow chews up the tough grass for a while, it then swallows it to the second stomach to help break it down. It then comes back up and the cow continues chewing what is now cud.
