Is a Koala a Native Australian Endangered Animal?

No. You will find a koala in Australia, but you will not find a koala bear in Australia, because no such creature exists. Koalas are marsupials, and are not related to bears in any way. There are many more native animals in Australia than just the koala. Also, the koala is not Australia's native animal emblem. Australia has no official faunal emblem.

Do koala bears rip peoples guts out?

Of course not. Koalas are not bears, but small marsupials. They avoid contact with people wherever possible. Their diet does not provide them with enough energy to do more than sleep most of the day and search for food while awake. Studies of primative kolalas indicate that the present day koala is much bigger, tougher and stronger than its ancestors. The fictitious Australian Drop-bear is an animal said to be a large more vicious koala which drops on people walking through the forest clawing and biting.

Do animals like the dark?

It depends on what type of animal it is. If it is nocturnal it will love the dark. An example for a nocturnal animal is an owl. It sleeps during the day and hunts and stays up during the night. That is how nocturnal animals are described. But if you compare a cat with an owl in this situation, an owl likes the dark more than the cat. =)
