Something typical of a group of animals is that they tend to stick together. They almost always have an alpha male, the leader of the group. He protects everyone form danger.

For my opoinion, being a member is better than being a leader for these reason -leader needs lots of skills and quality in order to lead the group with good leadership. -leaders usually must do the hardest work in the group. -leaders must do everything correct and planed in order to make no mistakes. If the leader makes a small mistake, the whole group might lapse with the leader because the group depends on the leader.
Usually animals migrate in groups because they rely on each other. For example. Canadian Geese travel in groups because they are well known for their ability that uses aerodynamics. They usually fly in a V shaped form because the leader of the group makes it easier for the members behind him to fly with ease, while he takes on the wind. They keep switching everytime the leader of the group is tired, or needs rest.

a style of leadership that creates harmony and solidity among group members The expressive leader (or sociomotional leader), usually is not recognized as a leader, but he or she certainly is one. This person is likely to crack jokes, to offer sympathy, or to do other things that help to lift the group's morale.
