the kowhai tree, was used as a treatment. eg:Internal use
a kowhai tree can grow up to 8m high and when it is 7.5m high you know it is time to have an erection
Kowhai trees take about 5 or more years to grow:]
There are 8 different species of Kowhai. The most common are Sophora Microphylla (South Island Kowhai) and Sophora Tetraptera (North Island Kowhai).
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing; Sun/soil/water/rotting organisms --> Kowhai tree --> Tui --> Stoat/cat - A tui drinks the nectar of the kowhai tree. Hope this helps :)
