The forest serves as the habitat of animals. It is very important in the growth of our economy because it provides work to people through logging.
Some animals live in trees, and some people just don't care. Sustainable logging practices aim to replace trees removed by logging, and to remove trees at a rate that does not exceed the rate at which new trees can grow to replace them. Even sustainable logging practices can have an impact on an ecosystem, for instance if a forest of several kinds of trees is replaced with a single variety that may be more profitable for the logging company. However, in many cases logging is performed with total disregard for wildlife or even human residents. Logging unsustainably is cheaper in the short term, and the cleared land can provide farmland for growing crops and raising cattle. Because of the composition of forest soil, however, this soil may only be suitable farmland for a couple of seasons, prompting further logging and habitat destruction in order to provide more farmland.
Yes. Logging has destroyed much of it's habitat.
mostly animals that has no habitat are animals that no longer have a habitat if ure not satisfied with this answer then u belong to animals thas no habitat hehe...;)
On June 26, 1990, the government listed the northern spotted owl as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. Its habitat was off-limits to logging.
logging kills trees which kills organisms such as animals
Lemurs are threatened by deforestation, illegal logging, habitat fragmentation, habitat degradation, and bushmeat hunting.
Some of the negatives of logging include the affect of logging on the environment. Logging can destroy entire ecosystems and even cause certain species of animals to become endangered.
I say that we can start cutting trees to stop logging there habitat and tell the people that are hunting them that they are only a bunch of............ thats why they are dying i love those animals.
Logging leads to deforestation, quite simply our forests disappear in time. If the forests are sparse or disappear all together in an area, then the animals in the area that lost their natural habitat will either die off or migrate to another area. Adaptation may occur in some cases, but is not likely.
