Crocodiles have a very high bite force, up to 5000 Lbs, however, they rarely compete with carnivores such as the tiger or the wolf. Competition between carnivores is distributed evenly everywhere, therefore there are interactions every day between them. A jaguar has a bite force of 1500 Lbs, for the reason that it kills to survive, therefore have teeth suited for killing, and as a result lots of pressure put. However, hyenas have more specialized teeth, which can crash bones but with a less force, of 1000 Lbs. Tigers have a very high bite force, even more than wolves, but their bite force quotient is smaller, which means that their muscle responsible for biting, is much less than the wolf's muscles, which weigh up to 9 kg/s. A way to suggest which animal has the strongest bite force, is to look at their weight, not in all cases however.
