Jack Rabbits have large ears with lots of veins, which cool their blood in the heat. Kangaroo's have a series of veins close to the surface of the skin on their forarms, and when it's hot they lick their forearms. The saliva evaporates cooling the blood. These are just a few ways that animals have adapted to desert life.
