In general, in the United States wildlife veterinary medicine is limited to those veterinarians who are also certified to work with wildlife and is done through wildlife rescue groups. Examples of this would include raptor rehabilitation organizations and predator conservation groups. Veterinarians also help wildlife through educational outreach to teach the public how to safely interact with wildlife and what to do if an injured wild animal is found.
