A glacier and a desert are both void of drinkable water that is easily accessed. There are both areas that animals have had to adapt to live in. A desert just has little rain fall and is hot, a glacier has little snow fall but has lots of frozen water that is of no use for drinking. It is very cold on a glacier as it is ice.
The National Parks Service does list wolverines as present in Glacier NP, but these reclusive animals are VERY difficult to spot.
Glacier Bay is truly a wonder of the world! It should be on everyone's bucket list. http://www.ehow.com/how_5013518_see-bay-national-park-day.html Kath
animals live in Sweden
a glacier snout is the front of the glacier :)
There are animals that live on Lambert glacier, or at least around it. Those animals are seals, whales, small seabirds and petrels.
All animals are very different, but mainly seal, sea lions, polar bears, penguins. No animal really lives IN a glacier, though -V_88
