You should NOT take antibiotics for a cut on your forehead, unless it becomes infected. (Red, puffy, hurts) You can APPLY an antibiotic to the cut itself -- Neosporin, hydrogen peroxide, and other antibiotic creams or sprays.
Do NOT apply alcohol ! This will certainly disinfect the wound, but will also kill your skin tissues, making the healing process last much longer than it should.
Band-aid the cut until the next day if it won't stop bleeding, or if you need to protect the wound scab from tearing off, like when you wear a hat . . .
The best treatment for small wounds is to simply leave them open to the nice, fresh, healing air.
