You dont need a certain application. The CD the game came with has the application(s) needed for the game(s) it has on the CD. If a certain game doesn't work after you instaled it, it is most likely that your computers system requirements don't mach the game requirements. (can be found on the back of CD box or inside the flip-open cover if it has one). Another possibility is that the CD itself is damaged.

∙ 13y agoDo you want to buy a gaming computer or turn you existng one into one? If the latter of the two, then just do nothing and install and run the games you want (so long as the computer is powerful enough). If the first one, then do nothing, buy and install the games you want to play. There aren't really programs for gaming computers, but if you have the computing knowledge, you may want to upgrade your RAM and graphics card if a lot of the games run slowly.
