Is the Quran the same as the Bible?

Answer ABible was revealed on Hazrat Essa (AS) or Jesus and Quran was revealed on Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).There are many different editions of bible nowadays, but there is only ONE original Quran version (in arabic) anywhere in the world plus Quran meaning translations into many languages.Christians don't believe in Quran as the message of God, but Muslims do believe in Bible as the previous message of God and Quran as the last message of God.Answer Bthe bible is way different from the Quran. for example if you wanted to divorce someone there is a story about that it tells you what the wife/husband does not have that makes you know whether to divorce him/her or not. there is guidance for everything in the quran if you only take the time to read and understand it. i hope tis answer will change your thoughts about your religion Answer CThe Bible is really two different works. One that was exclusively the product of the Jews over a period of at least 1100 years starting about 800BCE and an addition that was compiled from various Christians writings from the 1st to the 4th centuries CE. The Koran was supposedly the dictation of the angel Gabriel to Mohammad, an illiterate shepherd and merchant form Mecca. He was inspired to become a prophet because he felt that all the other peoples [the Greeks and the Jews] had had prophets but not the Arabs. [Hint:prophet Muhammad was inspired by God not by his own choice]The fact that he was illiterate and unlearned made it quite difficult for the Jews of Yathrub to accept him as a bonafide "Prophet", but he returned the favor by killing them. [Hint: Prophet treated the Jews as book believers and not as unbelievers. History books written by Westerners show that he was never an enemy to Jews or Christians. You may refer to the event when the Jews and Muslims made a treaty that the Jews don't allow enemies of Muslims to pass through their lands in Yethreb (Medina) when Muslims are in fight with enemies. However, the Jews made a secret agreement with Muslim enemies and allowed them to attack Muslims from behind. The betrayers were judged and punished not because they are Jews but because of betraying Muslims]While the Bible is full of allegory, metaphor, legends and a tiny bit of history, Mohammad was not sophisticated or learned enough to tell them apart. Nor did he understand that the source materials were divided into separate books followed by centuries of commentaries such as Christian sectarian legends and the Talmud. Thus his version of Bible stories are garbled, out of order, borrowing from anachronistic sources, and often self serving, adjusted to fit the moment. [Hint: The prophet stories and other events are real words of God by the witness of the Jews themselves. Prophet Muhammad didn't make versions of Bible stories. Otherwise, logically why he changes these versions in this case and expose himself to criticism]Do we really have to know what his difficulties with all his wives have to do with the word of Allah? [Hint: Prophet Muhammad had more than one wife for specific reasons per God guidance. He stayed married with one wife (that he married when he was at 25 years old) until her death after 25 year marriage.]For instance Mohammad thought that Miriam, the sister of Moses was the Mother of Jesus. He was unaware or completely ignorant of the time line of the Bible or that these events are at least 1200 years apart [despite the fact that both of them are probably fictional]. He also thought that Haman was a minister of Pharaoh. [Hint: Read Answer D below for comments on this]ANSWER D (including comments on Answer C):1- Muslims believe that the Quran is the real word of God not of any human even the prophet Muhammad PBUH, while Christians believe that the Bible is partly God's word and partly inspirations of the Bible different text writers.2- The Quran has never been subjected to any human interference of any kind; alteration, addition or elimination. While the Bible has always been subjected to such things.3- There are common things in both the Quran & the Bible like the general stories of the prophets because they are common in having ORIGINALLY a Divine source. However, there are many differences ranging from the dogmatic principal beliefs to the smallest details of the stories & events. Examples:*. Two Arabian prophets other than Muhammad, peace be upon all of them, are mentioned a lot in the Holy Quran & never mentioned in the Bible. So, Muhammad PBUH wasn't the first Arabian prophet.*. Haman is mentioned in six places of the Holy Quran as one of the closest persons to the Pharaoh, while the name Haman is mentioned in the last chapters of the Old Testament as the helper of a Babylonian king approximately 1,100 years after Moses. As you may infer, a third neutral party is needed to judge between the two different narrations. Well, after the ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs were decoded about 200 years ago the name Haman was found in those scripts with an amazing coincidence to what was revealed in the Holy Quran. This was among the reasons that made Dr.Maurice Bucaille embrace Islam & talked about that in one of his books.4- It's impossible to find any mistake of any type in the Holy Quran which is the main miracle of Islam. The virgin Mary is described in one verses of the Holy Quran as a" sister of Aaron" which means in the semitic language a descendant not a sister. Just like the word son in the first verse of the Gospel of Matthew " Jesus Christ, the son of David" means descendant not a son.Answer ESome main differences are: The Bible is the holy book of Christians and Jews. Quran is the holy book of Muslims. The Bible is not really God's words words, but is considered by many to be inspired by God. Many writers contributed to the Bible editing. This explains the existence of different Bible text versions. Muslims believe the Quran is really God's words revealed to prophet Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel (Jibril). This explains the existence of one single Quran text version. The New Testament of the Bible was written many years after Jesus. This made the Bible subject to alterations by addition, omitting, and/or change. The Quran was memorized word for word during the life of Muhammad and all Quran surahs (chapters) were written on palm leaves and other means to aid memorization, it was fully compiled by the first Caliph after the life of prophet Muhammad without a single letter alteration or change. The Quran continues to be fully memorized by many Muslims, fully recited by many, and frequently recited during praying in life of Muhammad and after his death until present. This protected the Quran from any possibility of alteration by addition, omitting, and/or change. The Bible, being written by many writers over a period of time, is structured as a text book with chronological order of events. Quran is structured according to the Angel Gabriel guidance, as commanded by God, who revised the Quran every year, over the 22 years of Quran revelation duration period, with prophet Muhammad to confirm the Quran chapters and verses and their order. The Bible doesn't include many topics (as Marriage, divorce, inheritance system, etc) that are included in Quran. The Bible doesn't include such scientific miracles as that mentioned in Quran. Muslims believe the Quran included many scientific statements that their correctness and validation has been proved only recently with the current available development in science and technology.
