Yes, There were arcades in Golden Ring Mall. I am currently researching something called StarPort, which was entertainment attraction located at Golden Ring Mall. Inside of Starport were several entertainment attractions including Sega City, Showscan, and other things that had to do with next-gen or Virtual Reality gaming United Artist Starport debuted somewhere between 1997-1999(I am not really sure. What I do know is that our starport (in Baltimore) was very similar to the Starport in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I will continue to research this topic and update this answer every time I learn something new.
