Fifteen things made out of wire include:
Wire. conductors. Wire made into a coil, an inductor.
Steel Wire in most cases but they can be made of plastic, or aluminum.
woltz
The windings of magnet wire are made on a machine that counts the loops of wire as they are formed into usable coils. Once the coils are complete they are installed into the stator slots in a specific order.
There are lots of things that are not made out of steel. I can't name all of them.
Candles and they are not made of wire, but wax.
If you are talking about the light circuit then : The Battery, The bulb and the wire.
AWG 10.
Wire flowers are sculptures made of wire and beads, and other things. It can also be used in your hair, as wall decorations, as weddings arrangements and other misc crafts.
Use a 15 amp breaker and 14 AWG wire and all switches and outlets rated at 15 amps or greater.
Water pipes, electrical wire, roofs, statues, coins, wood treatment . . .
No. Copper wire is made of the element copper. Tungsten wire is made of the element tungsten. Copper wire is made to conduct electricity. Tungsten wire is made for the filament in light bulbs as tungsten does not melt under even very high temperatures.
Wire made of many strands is 'cable'
The 15 amp fuse.
In normal residential use it is 20 Amps. That depends on alot of things such as the wire insulation, ambient temperature, etc. Standard NM 12/2 (Romex or equivalent, which is likely what you are asking as it is the primary type used to wire residential) is rated for 20 amps, 14 gauge is 15 amps, 10 gauge is 30 amps.
You are talking of two different things here. The voltage rating of a wire is based on the insulation factor. Common wire voltages are 300, 600 and 1000 volts. Current rating of a wire is based on the diameter of the wire and measured in AWG. The electrical code states how much current can be legally applied to the wire. Answering your question, the 2 wire cable is probably 300 volt rated and your #14 size wire is rated at 15 amps. Code also states that conductors can only be loaded to 80% continuous load, so 15 x .8 = 12 amps.
When a wire is made thicker it's resistance decreases.
