Are there any warm blooded reptiles?

Yes and No. As of now, there are no living, warm blooded reptiles (except perhaps birds). But there were warm blooded Reptiles. The Dinosaurs were warm blooded, the reason why we know this is because of there natural size. Science dictates that to reach that sice they had to have two things, 1 extra oxygenated air and 2 a self sufficient internal heating source. edit: this is untrue. Leatherback turtles are warm blooded, strangly enough. So yes, there is one type of warm blooded reptile.

Why do fish need to descend or rise to different water levels?

Fish need to descend or rise due to the temperature of which they live. They are cold blooded animals. Some fish live in very cold temperatures of water while others live in cold temperatures, but not as cold. The core of the Earth, as we know it, is filled with lava and generates heat. So the fish need to stay cold so they rise to the surface of the water, or at least, close to it. This is largely impacted by global warming.

Why are some animals unable to stand cold temperatures?

They adapt to their surroundings. Different animals have different adaptations. Eg polar bears are large (they have a smaller surface area to volume ratio), they have blubber to keep them warm which also is used to store food, they have small extremeties (ears), and they have 2 layers of insulating fur all over. Including feet. But not all animals adapt in the same way.

Is fling squrill warm blooded or cold blooded?

this might be a long answer, first "Warm and Cold Blooded" term is not what it seems..and is confusing.. scientists no longer use this term actually a cold blooded animals are invertebrates, reptiles, and everything besides mammals and birds, and actually the main diferance between the 2 is warmblooded animals need about 3-10 times more food ,Some might say that warmblooded creatures are "superior" because they tend to have far greater stamina, but actually they can't move faster than cold-blooded animals (for short bursts), and they starve far more easily than cold-blooded creatures, but any way.. back to your question.. a squirl is a mammal.. so they are warm blooded persay
