He discovered North America and helped the Yulun Indians in winning their war with the Pulupes of the Great Lakes. He also increased trade with Spain and North America. Unfortunately, after trekking through the woods in the first Spanish colony in North America, Columbus was bitten by an unknown insect that gave him a huge lump on his arm. The lump got infected soon after and he sought after medical attention from the supposedly friendly Yulun Indians. The Yulun Indians, wishing to take over the whole of North America now, covered him in collected Guano, (Bird Poop used in the olden times for fuel for light) where they then laid him in the hot sun to bake in the horrible stench. While he was steaming the white bird waste, his lump got even more infected. To keep himself alive longer, he had to quench his thirst by cutting open his bite with his knife, where he drank the green puss. After drinking that, though, he died finally of stomach poisoning.
He done many things in his life, but there's no telling what tribes he joined unless you do some research.
he led the explroreation of north and south america on accident
Christopher Columbus was a horrible leader, in which he mass murdered countless aboriginals. The aboriginal people had done no harm what so ever to the europeans and welcomed them with open arms and kindness. This brutality is unnacceptable!
Cristopher Columbus asked the spanish King and queen to fund his trip to India. They would get 90% of his earnings. They agreed but instead of reaching India he reached America where he traded beads for gold.
The nation that was ruled by Ferdinand and Isabella was Spain. They authorized the exploration that was to be done by Christopher Columbus, and brought knowledge of the Americas to Europe.
Jamaica wasn't "founded", but rather, "rediscovered". This was done by Christopher Columbus in 1494.

Many explorers have done it, most famously Christopher Columbus. Many ordinary sailors have done it too, so it would be impossible to list all the people who have done it.

he went back after the first voyage was all done
Christopher Columbus named America after Amerigo Vespucci, an Italian map maker who showed Columbus that the lands discovered by him (Christopher Columbus) were actually separate lands, not an extension of the Spice Islands and part of Asia as Columbus believed. Christopher Columbus did not name America after Amerigo Vespucci. That was done by a German cartographer/mapmaker named Martin Waldseemüller in 1507. Waldseemüller was mislead by a book apparently written by Matthias Ringmann, which was based on a letter said to have been written by Vespucci, but which has proved to be a fake. Waldseemüller later produced other maps without the name America on them, but in 1538 Gerardus Mercator applied the name to the entire New World in his maps, and this was accepted, even though Spain did not recognize the name for over 200 years, stating that Columbus should get the credit.
Yes him and is expedition went on a sail to Asia and then prooved that Columbus was wrong and Vespucci was right. (my work here is done: A+) WOOT WOOT! (p.s i got an a on this answer so that means its right)
Because he wanted to trade with the indians which is now called native amercian
Contradicting popular belief, Christopher Columbus didnt think that the world was round, he thought he could sail around the world without falling off the edge. People didnt think this could be done, but Christopher Columbus's reasoning for this was that he could reach the east indies because the world was a cylinder. If you roll up a map you can under stand this because then, nobody had discovered up past the edges of Antarctica and the Arctic. So, Christopher Columbus didnt have much support in going to the east indies. Also, the Spanish didnt give him a very good ship either. They thought he was going to die. When he got there he killed many of the natives and enslaved others. That is why we think he is crazy now, but this isnt what we teach in elementary school
