Concurrent Powers are powers shared by the federal and state governments. Some of the concurrent powers enjoyed by both the federal and state governments are: the power to tax, make roads, protect the environment, create lower courts and borrow money.
There are many types of air pollution. There can be particulate air pollution from things like dirt and pollen. There can be chemical air pollution from things like engines.
Trash pollution is bad because animals will eat it and they can get sick, suffocate, and many other things. Plus, it makes our cities unsanitary and they look disgusting!

It doesn't quite work that way. The States and their people ARE the government, and they have allowed the Federal government to do a very few things like regulate sales of items between and among the States, provide a military to protect all of the States, and to mint money.
