One of the problems caused by Global Warming is intense flooding caused by ice caps that have melted. As I'm sure you've seen on the news, many people die from this flooding. Another problem is, as I've said before, The Drought. It has shut down many farms because there isn't enough water for their crops and animals and themselves.

Ice caps: the North Pole ice could melt without any effect as it's only floating ice. The problem would be terrestrial ice such as that on Greenland and high mountains, thawing.
