In Egyptian myth the wife of Anubis - Anput and his daughter Kebechet continued to assist him in his duties (or he in theirs) and no more was told of them.
Anubis did not have servants, he was assisted in duties by various gods and goddesses including his daughter Kebechet, Isis and Nephthys; Wepwawet and Horus as well as Osiris and Ma'at.
Anubis is the Greek name of the Egyptian god called Anpu or pronounced Anapa. The meaning of the name is uncertain, but may mean "royal child". If so it likely refers to the fact that in some myths Anubis was a son of Ra, or Osiris, or Set, or Isis or Nephthys and so of the royalty of the gods of Egypt.
Anubis in ancient Egypt
Anubis was a very good god, as he protected the mummies and ensured the dead souls a safe trip to the afterlife. He was among the best gods, though there is another god that looks similar to Anubis who is VERY evil. This look-alike is Set, the brother of Anubis's mother, Nephthys. Set is basically the opposite of Anubis. He was a god of the desert, storms, and foreigners. In later myths he was also the god of darkness, and chaos.
'The Anubis' might refer to 'The Anubis Gates' (1983) a book or the TV series 'The House of Anubis'.
Anubis is the Egyptian god of death, he had a head of the Jackel. The mask of Anubis is probably just that, a mask of Anubis!
