Catholics view all people as being equal in the sight of God, having very different makeups and bodies, but the same spirits. After Our Blessed Lord, Himself, the most exalted human being that ever lived was Our Blessed Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, who is the type of the Church, and the only human being who lived her entire life without sin. Women have their own particular role in the Church, which, although different from men, is nonetheless important. Every single human being must work out their salvation with what God has given them, and for a woman to work out her salvation as a woman is ever bit as important as a man working out his salvation as a man. If you are asking about the priesthood, Our Blessed Lord has reserved that vocation to men as they, in their vocation, are the "spouse" of the Church, they are the "father" figure of the Church, or the parish which they serve. Like Our Blessed Lord who gave His life on the cross for the salvation of all people, men are called to imitate Him and to give their lives in service for their families and their churches. Women have their own roles of service in the Church, patterned after Our Blessed Lady, primarily. All views of people, whether of men or women are views primarily devoted to service. We are all called to take up our cross daily and to follow Our Blessed Lord.
There is only one Roman Catholic belief about this.
