There are no restriction in Hinduism. I am a practicing Hindu .
For a Catholic to wear a kara, at least with knowledge of what it was would be insulting to Hindus and others who wear kara's as part of their religion, and insulting to God.

Pork is not allowed to eaten by Jews, Muslims. Hindus are allowed to eat pork but many choose not to very often. Sikhs are also allowed to eat pork but chose not to very often
